IT'S MY WEDDING ANNIVERSARY YALL!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT????
(will be shouting like this somewhere around March, every year)
So anyway, I decided to throw a little surprise for my husband on our anniversary a few weeks ago.
He hates surprises but do I care? He's married to me now so he doesn't get to win anymore #HealthyMarriage
Anyway, I booked a weekend stay at Pulse Grande Hotel, Putrajaya. It was previously known as Shangri-La Putrajaya.
On top of the weekend stay, I booked a candle light dinner package (bought it on Fave website).
AND BOY WAS MY HUSBAND PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. It was the weekend staycation he never knew he needed.
Both our feet, overlooking the infinity pool,
thinking of our future
and why Ross thought it was okay to sleep with another woman
when they were on a break.
I chose the Garden View. Our room was at level 3, which was the same level as the swimming pool. And conveniently enough, the room was next to the pool. We literally just have to walk less than 10m to the pool.
This was our room.
The towel swans and the yellow balloons
It actually was supposed to come with a small cake as well but I personally told them I didn't want it coz I bought my own cake. I'm independent like that.
The bath tub!
Bae on a lounge chair next to the balcony
Bae, checking on the flowers in front of our balcony,
thinking "These bitches better not think they're prettier than my wife"
Bae, in between the towel swans,
just like he's always in between
whether to love me for my beauty
or for my personality.
Bae, feeling comfortable under the half-cracked-egg-looking chair
So, later that night, we went to their in-house restaurant, Azur, for the candle light dinner.
That's the entrance to the restaurant.
A three-course meal!
We started with some sparkling juice.
This waiter pulled the cork so hard, it landed at the back of my head.
Damn it. It was this close to a law suit if it were to land on my head but oh well.
Starter : Cream Mushroom Soup with Garlic Bread
Main Course: Traditional Beef Wellington Mushroom Confit & Noisette Potato
Dessert: Warm Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream
Rating: 3/5
(Coz their breakfast spread was the worst. Everything was tasteless)
It was a good stay!
Here's a selfie of us.
We were on a buggy, from the car park to the lobby. Convenient eh?
Dian out!
